Quality Management System (QMS)

CCM achieved ISO9001:2000 certification on December 20, 2007, from AFAQ-EAQA Ltd, UK, attesting to its precision and stringent quality standards in plastic mould production. This certification aligns with CCM's commitment to delivering top-quality products that fully satisfy customers. The company enforces rigorous control measures to uphold the integrity of the production process.

CCM's control system consists of 3 main areas:-

Feasibility Study of Mould Design

Upon receipt of the confirmed data and drawings, the Engineering Department will study and analyse the mould design. A feasibility study is conducted and a report will be generated for further discussion with the customer.

Work-In-Progress Inspection

- After the Design and CAD-CAM Department has completed the detailed drawing, the Group Leader of the Mould-Making Department will carefully check the drawing. Should there be any discrepancies, there shall be a review process. If, however, everything is in order and are ready to proceed, the Mould-Making Department will take on the next stage to make the mould.
- The Design and the CAD-CAM Department will meanwhile produce copper electrodes.
- Checking will be carried out before proceeding to the EDM Department.
- After completion by the EDM Department, all inserts must pass the Quality Checking (QC) Department.
- The Polishing Department will ensure that all necessary surfaces are polished.
- The final process is mould-fitting and assembly.

Outgoing Inspection

The Tooling Engineer will make a final inspection on the mould's fitting and cooling system. This stage will ensure the best possible test results. The first mould-testing is carried out by the Tooling Engineer. He observes the entire process of mould-testing. The Tooling Engineer produces a report of the mould-testing to be handed to the Mould-Making Group Leader Changes, if any, are quickly rectified before the customer issues a report.
